Waste not, want not…
By weaving my latest wedding book I’ve collected lots of little bits of left over torn fabric. Rather than throw them out I’m piecing everything together to make several little cloths or, if I have enough, one big one. It’s exciting to see where this project will lead…

I just love this picture of my daughter and her fiancé so much I can’t resist making a voile image of it to sew into their Wedding Book.
with my last project in this final phase of DIY. I had an old window frame that I’d previously stripped back to the original pine wood while it was used as a window. When the wall was removed I was loathe to throw the frame out so decided to tidy it up and have it glazed to use as a mirror. The other alternative is to make a landscape textile to put behind it … maybe one day … In the meanwhile, the mirror idea wins hands down!
and the answer is definitely ‘to bead’! So I shall keep on adding until I’m happy with the result. This may take quite a long time…
