Scraps galore…
There is nothing more satisfying than using repurposed textiles. I never throw anything away that I may have a use for in the future – even if, at the present time, I have no idea what that might be. This time it was scraps of felt that have come in so handy as flower stems. The backgrounds are from cast off upholstery sample books and the chiffon and satin petals from various sewing projects.
Why throw anything away… when even the tiniest slither of felt may one day come in handy.
After some initial trepidation I can now say that I really enjoyed the challenge of making this tiny piece of textiles. Even better, my client was absolutely delighted with it. Always a relief…!
