No time to sew…..
as I have been moving into my new ‘studio’ this week. Everything went into storage and I forgot how much I had accumulated over the years. I really must try and de-clutter but how will I know what I may or may not need in the future? Oh dear, such difficult decisions to be made!

I’ve finally made a start on constructing the wedding box and it’s a bit of a challenge! This is the lid but it’s a bit tricky to photograph without the box part to lay it on so I’ve hung it upside down from a cupboard door that I just renovated.
In between renovating the staircase I found time in the week to finish beading this wedding cloth. It’s now ready to make into an heirloom book and memory box for a Spring wedding. I had better get a scurry on……..!
Sometimes it’s nice just to have a bit of a play. This week I found some colourful textured yarns and ribbons so I started weaving……. I made some little cloths by adding stitch to hold everything together then turned them into cards.
I’m moving away from total whites for my next range of wedding books and including neutral shades. After that I’m going to be more ‘out-of-the-box’ and incorporate brighter colours – maybe to complement the bridal flowers or bridesmaids dresses.
