Never too many!! Starting with a background of silk furnishing fabric swatches I add coordinating colours and textures found in my box of off-cuts that I just can’t throw away!

A new approach to a brooch…
Rather than making numerous holes in clothes I like to attach one of my handmade brooches to a long necklace to make a unique and eye catching statement piece.

A quartet of Valentine cards…
with a Victorian theme. Layers of linen and muslin topped with ‘romantic’ sheet music, hessian and velvet hearts can also be framed as well as hung as-is.

Ready to wear…
however you choose. These handmade, chiffon brooches are the ideal accessory that can be worn in a number of ways. One of my favourites is to use one to secure a scarf or shawl in place.
