Rather than place names, I made personalised bunting to hang on the back of each guest’s chair.  It also doubles up as a little memento for everyone to take home.

When you can’t find anything to match the outfit a spot of DIY is the answer.  Luckily I have mountains of scraps in most colours and types of fabric including vibrant orange…  Just the thing to finish off my rather bright outfit!

What started out as a guesstimate of 50m turned into another guesstimate of 100m.  When you don’t have the dimensions of a rather large marquee it’s a bit of a gamble, so…  you can never make enough – just in case!!

I just love making my own bias binding – it’s so satisfying especially since I discovered a fabulous and super-quick trick on-line!  Good to know when I had to have 120m to make 100m of wedding bunting.

The wedding book is finally finished and I’m sure I couldn’t have fitted on another bead or sequin!   It certainly does sparkle beautifully when it catches the light.

By weaving my latest wedding book I’ve collected lots of little bits of left over torn fabric.  Rather than throw them out I’m piecing everything together to make several little cloths or, if I have enough, one big one.  It’s exciting to see where this project will lead…

and the answer is definitely ‘to bead’!  So I shall keep on adding until I’m happy with the result. This may take quite a long time…
